pressure treated idiots

Last night two guys walked into a Dollar General store and robbed the clerk. Robbery is not unusual in a large city, but this robbery is unusual because of the criminal's weapon of choice. Police say two men, wearing masks and carrying 2-by-4's, walked in and demanded money from the clerk. 2 by 4's, are you serious, wooden 2 by 4's.
Where in the Bible does it say,"In the last days people shall go slap crazy."? The really stupid part about this whole crime is, because of idiots, I'll probably have to get a background check and wait 3 days before I can get my lumber from Home Depot. You may think I'm over reacting but have you tried to buy Robitussin over the counter lately? You can't. Thanks a bunch meth-heads.

Why do I blog

I just read my Friend Eric's blog ( www.challengingnormal.com ). Eric is one of the most awesome guys I know and he wrote a thing about why he blogs. That got me thinking I should probably tell why I blog. Here it is in bullet points...

-- It's a way to discipline myself. The Bible says “A person without self-control is like a house with its doors and windows knocked out.” (Proverbs 15.28) By blogging something everyday it helps me get in a routine. If I can get in a routine in this area, maybe I can get in routines in other areas.

-- I have a lot of stuff that flies around in my head and the more I can get out the easier it is to stay focused.

-- It lets me remember things and share things with people I like.

That's it I think. My blog is about stuff in my life, heart and head. So it's really just for me, but maybe you'll get something out of it.

SHUT UP !!!!!!!

I really didn't want to blog about the election, but I am. Listen I understand there are people that will vote different from me. Fine, I except that. I think you are wrong, but I still except it. You can vote for whoever you like. I will listen to you tell me how you think your candidate is the right one, that's fine. Vote how you want and talk all you want.
BUT, IF YOU DON'T VOTE , SHUT UP !!!!!!!
If you don't vote you don't have any right to say anything about the election. I don't care what you think, how you feel or what you want. Your chance to speak is Tuesday. If you vote and things don't go your why, you're free to complain. You participated in the election, so you can comment on the outcome.
BUT, IF YOU DON'T VOTE, SHUT UP !!!!!!!!
