How you ridin?

Okay, I understand the church needs to be relevant. I understand the church needs to be able to relate to people where they are. Listen, if you know me, you know I'm all about teaching people about God using things they can understand.

We need to be relevant, but sometimes I think churches try to be too relevant. The problem with being too relevant is, it's very easy to cross the line between relating to the world and becoming like the world. When I'm driving to work and see a church sign that says "Don't let Jesus caught you ridin dirty", I think maybe we've gone too far. I think we need to back it up a bit and refocus.
