The gift of Failure

If I could give you anything it would be the freedom to fail. I know these seems weird. You would think I would want to give you the gift of success. I do want you to succeed in life, but I know one little secret about success -- IF YOU ARE NOT FREE TO FAIL, YOU ARE NOT FREE TO SUCCEED. If you are afraid you will fail at something, you will always play it safe. You will never take a risk. You will never go out on a limb. You will not dream big, amazing, impossible dreams because you are afraid. God's plans for your life are bigger than you can imagine. Don't be afraid to try something new, something that you have never done before.

I know you may be saying, "What IF I fail?". So what!! You failed, everyone fails sometimes, just try again. Failure isn't fatal. You might find that your failure teaches you more than you excepted. You might find it takes you down a path of even greater adventure. Even if you fail, you will have grown, learned and lived more than if you had not tried.

Trying and failing doesn't make you a loser, it just makes you a failure. A loser is someone who never takes a risk. At times we are all failures, but we don"t have to be losers.
