the greatest skill

If I could give you anything it would be a teachable spirit. The greatest skill/ ability you can develop in your life is to have a teachable spirit. To always to open to instruction, direction or correction. Some people get to a place in their life where they think they know everything and will not let anyone give them instructions. Even if you are an expert in a certain field, there is always someone who can teach you something new.

A good example of someone being able to teach you something new is...the other day I was at church, looking for security software and different programs to keep kids from getting on the computers unsupervised and going to stupid websites. After about an hour of searching, without success, a friend came into my office. After being told of my situation, my friend who is not really skilled on computers, had the perfect solution. His solution -TAKE THE KEYBOARD WHEN YOU LEAVE-. Brilliant!! I was looking for some high tech answer. I never thought of taking the keyboard, but if there is no keyboard you can"t use the computer.

God can can use any person, thing or situation to teach you a lesson and help you become the person He has destined you to be.

Always be teachable.
